Nature has been declining globally at rates unprecedented in human history. The global insurance sector is therefore beginning to take a more holistic view of nature-related risks, expanding beyond climate and natural hazard risks. The UNDP Sustainable Insurance Forum (SIF) has developed the SIF Scoping Study: Nature-related risks in the Global Insurance Sector with input from SIF members, experts and industry participants to support insurance supervisors and insurance companies to understand and respond to these risks.
